Lembeh Resort provides the perfect place from which to explore the incredibly diverse marine life found in the Lembeh Strait of North-Eastern Sulawesi.

As the 'muck diving' capital of the world the majority of diving is done on black sand or 'muck' as it is known. This is without a doubt one of the most extraordinary and interesting marine environments we have seen and the attraction for divers is the rare and very special marine critters that are present in these waters. These include the mimic octopus, flamboyant cuttlefish, a huge array of frogfish species, weedy scorpionfish and pygmy seahorse, all of which it would not be unusual to see in just one morning of diving. As well as the great muck diving available, Lembeh Resort also has easy access to a selection of healthy coral reefs, which make a totally different diving experience and are incredibly beautiful.

There are just 20 rooms at Lembeh Resort, ensuring views remain unspoilt and the atmosphere is peaceful. Guests can choose from one of the six Garden View Rooms, one of the thirteen Deluxe Ocean View Cottages, or the luxurious Cliffside Suite. The newest addition to the hotel's accommodation selection, the Cliffside Suite benefits from stunning ocean views which are best enjoyed from its private terrace and swimming pool.

At the front of the resort there is a fresh water swimming pool which has lovely views over the Lembeh Strait; a great place for relaxing between dives or at the end of the day. Centrally located in the main building, the restaurant and bar opens at 7am offering a delicious breakfast of fresh fruits, cereals and pastries as well as western and Indonesian cooked dishes to get you ready for a day of diving. Lunch consists of either a buffet or al-la-carte depending on how many people there are and then there's dinner, which comes with a choice of seven different a-la-carte menus. On top of this, enjoy morning and afternoon snacks from the bar or a cocktail after a good days diving.

The Lembeh Resort has an excellent dive centre, especially for underwater photographers. The camera room located just a few steps from the dive boat, has extensive rinsing and drying facilities. The dive team will make sure equipment is carried, rinsed and stored and it will be ready and assembled on the boat on the next dive. The photo centre is the only full-time Digital Imaging Centre in Lembeh Strait and the resident Photo-Pro runs courses from beginner to professional. If you are a photographer this is a really special addition.
