Aquacat

With just 11 cabins, Aquacat is without a doubt the best liveaboard option in the Bahamas, providing a private and luxurious way to experience some of the most beautiful islands on earth, the northern Exumas.

All of the cabins are extremely spacious and have private bathrooms with shower and air-conditioning. The cabins come in various configurations and can fit two, three or four people. The communal areas throughout the vessel include a dining/saloon area with two large dining tables and several sofas, an alfresco deck so you can eat outside and a sundeck for relaxing between dives.

The main event on board the Aquacat is of course the scuba diving. The cruises take place weekly, leaving from Nassau cruising to the remote islands of the Exumas, especially the Exumas Land and Sea Park, the most pristine area in the whole of the Bahamas. The diving includes blue holes, walls, wrecks, coral reefs and exhilarating shark dives with the chance of seeing a huge range of marine life including lemon sharks, stingrays, eagle rays, Caribbean reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, turtles and much more.

However, this trip is also perfect for non-divers since there is so much more to do apart from the diving. This includes snorkelling, kayaking, hiking a nature trail, exploring and sunbathing on the uninhabited islands and beaches and fishing. Kayak through the creeks that meander through Shroud Cay, nurseries for many varieties of fish and sharks or snorkel at Norman's Plane Wreck.
