The past couple of years have led us all to understand what really matters. From the profoundly important things like family to the small things like hugs and the genuinely life affirming things such as travel. Absence has made all our hearts grow fonder, and has slowly but surely turned wanderlust into wandermust, but it's inevitable that travel looks and feels different than it did 'before'. If we are entirely honest in an era of endless flight routes and overtourism, that’s no bad thing, and its part of the reason that we are championing a new concept that we like to call ‘Travel Less, Travel Better’.

Yes, you did read that right; a travel company is actually suggesting that we all might travel - less. Give us a moment to explain. Firstly, we are not recommending giving up travel. If you are on this website, it's likely that concept is every bit of an anathema to you, as it is to us. Marvelling at other cultures and landscapes and seeing the wider world is quite simply one of the reasons for being alive. The 'Travel Less' part might mean less flying and more longer stays (like a sabbatical); or flying less and travelling by car or train instead. We are very relaxed about either option and when you do fly, you can do so knowing that we off-set 100% of the carbon emissions.

How to Travel Better
When it comes to the subject of better, the challenge to get people to 'Travel Better' is one that we love because its something that we have been helping our clients to do since we launched back in 2003. Again, better can be interpreted in a number of ways. To some, 'better' might mean only getting on a plane for those bucket list trips that you have dreaming about for years; to others, it might be being a better traveller by 'Giving Back' or practising 'Philantourism' while you are away. 'Better' can also refer to the process of travel; perhaps using one of Original Diving's additional services like airport lounge access and fast track (which, in these times, has never been more important) or it might be getting the inside track on the things that only the locals know from our clued-up Concierges.

However you want to interpret the phrase, we are on hand to help you find your way through the new landscape of travel, and to create a tailor-made trip that's perfectly designed to help to travel better.
