Located on the beachfront of bounty beach, Ocean Vida would be our top recommendation on Malapascua.
The hotel itself is small with just 20 rooms that are simple but comfortable all with a private terrace or balcony and nicely decorated. Rooms either have Garden Views or Ocean Views but we definitely recommend going for one with an Ocean View!
The bar is located just back from the beach with a variety of bean bags and cushions dotted around the beach so you can enjoy a beer after a good days diving. You can also indulge in fresh seafood at the restaurant, brought in every morning by the local fishermen after their daily catch.
Ocean Vida is also partnered with one of the best dive centres in the Philippines: Sea Explorers. With dive centres all over the Southern Visayas, they are German owned and extremely well run from immaculate equipment rooms and equipment to friendly instructors and dive masters to safe but fun diving.
We recommend Ocean Vida to be the very best option for diving in Malapascua.
