Each of the 42 rooms are hidden within the tropical canopy, ensuring the utmost privacy, whilst huge terraces offer panoramas over the Andaman sea, with dining tables, sun loungers and infinity pools. Interiors give a nod to the local culture with teak wood interiors, Thai artworks and expensive spa-style bathrooms.

Trisara's bay is fringed by a coral reef that can be accessed straight from the golden sand beach. A 45-metre salt water lap pool sits along the sand line whilst water sports, from kayaking to windsurfing, can be accessed directly from the shores. A dedicated PADI dive centre takes guests to some of the region's best dive sites. For guests who want to explore further afield, a sports cruiser is available for half or full day excursions.

Breakfast is a delicious buffet of tropical fruits, juices and continental platters, as well as an a la carte menu, served on the deck overlooking the ocean. The hotel features two excellent restaurants: Seafood, which serves up fresh seafood in homely thai dishes, and the innovative Pru which serves farm-to-table cuisine from a bold European-Asian fusion menu.

The resort's Jara Spa features treatments and healing therapies using organic local ingredients. Additional features include a steam room, hammam, tennis court, and kid's club. Guests can also rise and shine with sunrise yoga or break a sweat in the Muay Thai boxing ring.
