Andros Diving Holidays: An Overview

Andros is an archipelago within the Bahamas and is the largest of the 26 inhabited Bahamian islands. The land area of Andros consists of lots of small islets and cays, connected by mangrove estuaries and tidal swamps as well as three main islands - North Andros, Mangrove Cay and South Andros.
Due to the geological nature of Andros, it is home to a large concentration of inland and ocean blue holes, attracting divers from all over the world. Not only does it have great diving, but Andros is also one of the best spots on earth for bone fishing, so if you enjoy fishing and diving, this might just be the dream destination for you. For the hardcore divers and fishers amongst you, Small Hope Bay is the perfect place to spend your holiday. For those looking for real luxury, accompanied by some diving, then the places to head for are the white sandy shores of Tiamo or stunning Kamalame Cay.
