Boasting two of the most famous dive sites in the region on its house reef – Hairball and Aw Shucks – Dive into Lembeh is a muck diver’s heaven.

The resort is located in a secluded spot on the mainland, with uninterrupted views over the Lembeh Strait and across to Lembeh Island. There are nine wooden bungalows dotted across the resort, each equipped with all the mod-cons as well as your very own private Japanese-style hot tub on the balcony. The resort also has its own swimming pool - filled with water from its onsite well - and a spacious sun deck.

The diving here is simply spectacular. Whether diving on the house reef or further along the Strait, go in search of hairy frog fish, mimic octopus, banded sea snakes, orangutan crabs, mantis shrimps and an array of other critters, all hiding out in the black volcanic sand of the Lembeh Strait. Spend surface intervals tucking into meals in the resort's open-air restaurant and bar, where experienced chefs serve local and international food and drinks. Come evening, the beachside fire pit is the perfect place to relax and mingle with other guests, sharing stories and pictures from your diving adventures.

Why We Love It

The house reef boasts three of Lembeh's official dives. Hairball - known as being one of the best in Lembeh - is one of them, and I saw five different types of frogfish on a single dive, including hairy frogfish, lembeh hairy frogfish and randol frogfish - amazing!
